The current cost of a visa on arrival is US$25 for 15 days, US$40 for 30 days or if extending your stay $100 for 90 days. All are multiple entry. The visa on arrival fee can be paid for in cash in US Dollars, Pounds Sterling or Euros. You will also need a passport photo. Application forms are available in the immigration hall (or for electronic passports there are visa registration machines which, after inserting your passport, automatically fill out a form for you). You must firstly join the queue to pay the visa fee, and then go to the relevant immigration desk to obtain your 15, 30 or 90 day visa stamp. There can be long queues for visas on arrival.

Your insurance policy must coverage accidents, medical expenses and emergency evacuation including helicopter rescue and then personal liability. At the time of you do Insurance you should read the policy carefully whether your requirements are included or not. Incredible Himalayan Sherpa also advocated your Insurance policy coverage cancellation curtailment, loss of luggage and personal effects. If you have must proof of the Insurance receipt, you will do initiative otherwise you can’t get any compensation.

Helicopter Evacuation

Sometimes, Helicopter rescue situations can come due to unexpected accident, bad weather, road obstruction/blocked or other reasons. Anywhere you options for a helicopter trip in order to back to home early due to health issue and due to an emergency that may arise during the trip. In any cases, the expense of any helicopter flight is the only responsibility of you or your policy should be coverage in this cases.

Money and Tipping

Money and Tipping; It is best to bring a mixture of cash and traveler’s checks in a major currency [some currencies are not convertible to NPR]. USD, GBP, CAD, EUR, and AUD are generally fine. Ensure you have also small denominations. As a guideline for baseline spending money we suggest USD 8 - 10 per meal in Kathmandu / Pokhara and USD 30 – 35 per day whilst trekking in the Annapurna region (if you drink or smoke or plan some major shopping this could be higher). You should exchange enough money into Nepalese Rupees to last the entire time of your trek BEFORE leaving Kathmandu. There are no exchange facilities in the villages along the trail but plenty of money changers in KTM.

Tipping is, Since the 1960s when trekking in Nepal was developed, there has been a tradition for groups and independent visitors to tip their crews at the end of a trek but tips are not included in the trip price. If you are happy with the performance of the trekking staff, we suggest the following as a minimum: USD 7 per day of the wages or around one day’s wage for each week on trek. As a rule, and through tradition, the head cook should get a little more than the porters and ‘Sherpa’ and kitchen crews. The Sirdar and Leader/guide should get a little more again.

Review by Robertus Robet from Indonesia

We were in Nepal from 6 to 22 of September 2017. It was incredible two weeks experience. We spent two night in Kathmandu to prepare trekking equipment and all climbing tools such as: shoes, crampon, ice-axe, jacket. Yes, it was summer in Nepal, but trekking to the 5700 M altitude should be well prepared. We anticipate ice and snow in the peak during summer. The journey begun in 8 of september. We go by jeep to Briddim from Kathmandu, the trip took 9 hours. The Incredible Himalayan Sherpa prepare everything, they mean to make us success to climb Yala Peak. For three of us, the organizer involve 9 team members: the 5 porters, 2 guide, 2 chef. It was just like 5 stars trekking service. The trekking begun from Briddim, our last village is Kyangjing Gumpa. From Briddim to Kyangjing Gumpa we spent 3 night ad the tea house along the trek. We pass the legendary Lama Hotel. At first night we spent the old tea house. We enjoyed great breakfast with tibetan bread and original honey from the local farmer. The second day, we spent the night in tents because the only tea house in the area (The River Side) we were visit was closed by the owner. f From the Rover Side we directly go to Langtang. We pass the old beautiful langtang valley. We found the sites of previous Lantang, each of us spent some moment to commemorates and pay respect for everybody that been the victims of the Langtang earthquake tragedy two years ago. We pants one night in the New Langtang village. From Langtang we pass Mundu and continue the trekking to Kyangjing Gumpa. We spent two nights in Kyangjing Gumpa for acclimatization. We trek to Kyangjing Ri (4400 M) from Gumpa in return. After 2 days acclimatization, we continue to Yala Peak. We go to the base camp, 4100 M altitide, the site of the base camp is a place where Yak easily come and go around us. It was great adventure to sleep near the Yak. The all great mountains such as Ganjala Peak and Langtang Lirung reveal themselves so beautifully. From base camp we directly trek high to the high camp. The high camp is located in extraordinary place, a broad flat terra with shallow gletzier river, grass with all mountain panorama. We did climbing practice with rope, jumar, harness and carabiner in the hills around the high camp. In 4 o'clock in the morning we do summit attack. After 7 hours trekking, the glorious moment finally come true. We step on the Yala Peak Summit.

Review by Karel Novák
In April 2017 I made trek with company Incredible Himalayan Sherpa Adventure. It was 20 days trek – Kangchenjunga circuit. The trek was very nice. I was able to see different nature and culture – from rain forest to rocks and glacier, from Hindu culture to Tibetan. I walk alone only with guide-porter Dawa. With service of Incredible Himalayan Sherpa Adventure I was fully satisfied. Guide take care about me, had very good knowledge of Nepal and Tibet history and spoke very good English. Whole trek was well organized. This trek and Incredible Himalayan Sherpa Adventure company I can only recommend.
